**For Sale: 1986 USDM Honda Prelude 2.0Si**I’m selling my beloved Prelude because I recently bought a Honda Element for more space, and I can’t afford to keep three vehicles. I’ve owned this car since 2020, and it has been garage-kept and never winter-driven since at least 2018. I haven’t even driven it in the rain.**Vehicle Details:**- **Year:** 1986- **Make:** Honda- **Model:** Prelude 2.0Si- **Engine:** B21A1 Engine Swap- **Front Drivetrain & Subframe:** Swapped from a 1991 Prelude SR**Low Mileage Modifications:**- **Suspension:** Lowered on custom Ceika 1M 30-way damping coilovers from Australia- **Headlights:** High-quality LED retrofit from Philips (high beams work)- **Exhaust:** DC Sport muffler on otherwise stock exhaust (has catalytic converter, not too loud or raspy)- **Wheels:** FAST wheels (passenger side curb damage, driver’s side perfect)- **Tires:** Westlake tires (lots of life)- **Headunit:** Kenwood KMM-BT332U (brand new)**Vehicle History:**- Imported from South Carolina in 2013 with a blown engine and faded paint. The man in Nova Scotia swapped the suspension, subframe, engine, and everything mechanical in the front from a low mileage 1991 Prelude SR.- Repainted in Mazda Sparkling Black Mica and interior swapped to black.- Unsure of the exact mileage on the body. Engine likely has around 210,000km based on accounts from previous owners driving habits.**Condition:**- Excellent shape with minimal rust underneath for its age.- Does not burn or leak any oil (compression test results from a few months ago: Cyl 1: 184 PSI, Cyl 2: 180 PSI, Cyl 3: 182 PSI, Cyl 4: 182 PSI).- Paint has some cracks and rust bubbles under the gas cap and at rear wheel arches (hasn't shown through the paint yet).- A/C not included with the engine swap. Has button but does nothing.- Cruise control is there but not hooked up.- Speedometer needle bounces (CEL for Vehicle Speed Sensor due to a bad solder joint in the instrument cluster circuit board).- Everything else electrical works besides rear defroster.**New Parts (This Summer):**- Distributor assembly- Plugs and wires- Oil pan gasket- OEM thermostat- Front calipers, rotors, and pads- Front upper ball joints- Front sway bar end links- Fuel filter- Headunit- Speedometer cable- Steering wheel (imported from the USA with original leather)**Extras:**- Comes with front lower ball joints and both clutch cylinders (not installed as the current ones are in good condition).**Needs Attention:**- Battery (4 years old, currently needs a boost to start)- Alignment (needs fine-tuning after changing upper ball joints, but it’s close)- Trunk seal (leaks a little)- Hood prop clip (broken, using a rubber band temporarily)This is a one-of-a-kind vehicle with a lot of love and work put into it.
