New tires in 2022, at 90 percent life today, new brakes May 2024, new tie rod ends December 2023, a new Battery November 2024, and finally new wheel bearings March 2024.This is the R-Sport model with every option available. This includes upgraded and massive 22-inch aluminum rims, light oyster grey and dark grey two tone leather seats, heated and cooled front seats, rear heated seats, a 10.2 inch touch screen, digital cockpit, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, plus many of the latest tech features. This includes automatic emergency braking, reverse traffic detection, Lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition and driver fatigue alert!We also have many extras, including four mud flaps (to be installed by new owner), red painted calipers, tint and ceramic coat over the whole vehicle. To top that off, I also had RSP Motorsports in Komoka Ontario reprogram the ECU, unlocking 30 more horsepower and 60 more foot pounds of torque. Expect now 210 horsepower and near 380 ft lb of torque.Finally, in October 2019 the front bumper with damaged at low speed in a parking lot. Please see a picture of the damaged bumper. The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace is a fun-to-drive SUV that also happens to be one of the most spacious, efficient and competitively priced competitors in the compact luxury segment. Jaguar's primary goal when setting out to produce its first SUV was for it to be pretty. Mission accomplished, yet as a bit of length, wheelbase and ground clearance were added to achieve eye-pleasing proportions, the resulting vehicle ended up with more backseat legroom, cargo space and off-road-friendly ground clearance than most of its competitors.Sharp styling inside and out. The F-Pace is really pretty, living up to the expectations laid down by the other curvy and shapely Jaguar designs. Crucially, it doesn’t simply follow the mold of every other luxury crossover in this space. The same is true of the inside, where the handsome, understated cabin sparkles with high-quality materials in every direction.Bright and colorful infotainment screen. The 10.2-inch touchscreen, dubbed InControl Touch Pro, is lovely to look at and use. Its bright, colorful graphics are modern and easy to decipher; its functions and menus simple to use while driving. I’ll admit that the Jag system is not always the quickest or most predictable in its response to finger pushes, but I still find it very appealing.We averaged an impressive 29 mpg in our time with the F-Pace 20d, matching the EPA’s combined estimate and beating the 35t model’s observed average by a whopping 11 mpg. It also beat the last X3 diesel we tested by 1 mpg.In everyday driving, Jaguar’s diesel—a member of the company’s Ingenium family of engines—is a mostly refined piece. You’ll know that you’re driving a diesel from its somewhat gruff sound, but there’s not much excess vibration or harshness once the engine warms up, and the auto stop/start system is unobtrusive and smooth most of the time. The gearing of the eight-speed automatic is well matched to the 2.0-liter’s low-end muscle, making the F-Pace more responsive in modest day-to-day driving than its test-track numbers would suggest. It’s only at wide-open throttle or higher speeds that the four-cylinder struggles to move the F-Pace with urgency.Drives like a sport sedan. Dive into a turn, steer sharply, brake late; the F-Pace forgives and even encourages this behavior. With lots of aluminum in its makeup and an expensive double-wishbone front and multilink rear suspension, this is a crossover that truly does drive smaller than it is. I’m reminded of the eager, playful way the XE sedan goes, stops, and steers.Passes fuel stations. The F-Pace diesel is rated for up to 33 miles per gallon on the highway, and I routinely saw 31-32 mpg on the trip computer without even trying to hypermile. That’s pretty good, especially when you consider that the next-thriftiest 2018 F-Pace, the 25t that uses a 2
