Priced in Canadian $$ Up for sale is my very rare 1988 Volkswagen T3 Doka Transporter Synco, 1.6 turbo diesel, dual locker, TriStar. 1 of 500 ever made (not for 1988 but for all years), probably a once in a lifetime opportunity to buy one in Canada! Tristars are fully loaded trucks. Some of the options on my truck include; -the 4th door! -sliding rear windows - grab handles with map lights -bucket seats with armrests -carpeted interior -extra interior trim -Headlight washers -adjustable headlights -full time 4wd -1.6 turbo diesel -front and rear lockers -manual trans , low gear (G), plus 4 does about 115km/h -mercedes benz rims and brand new BFG MT tires including full size spare This truck was originally sold new in Germany to a mining company and never saw true road use until it was sold to the UK in 2021. I bought it and imported it to Canada in 2023. Fully registered and insured with Ontario ownership. Insured with Hagerty. The truck is in excellent shape, the mine company did paint it safety yellow (originally white). The body has a few small dings and dents no real rust. The underside is rust free/leak free The interior is all original with some wear on the driver's seat. Everything works (no a/c) windows are all clear and crack free. Sometimes the tach is a bit lazy to get going. There is a lot of room in the cab, and is actually a nice place to sit with great views all round. The truck runs and drivers very good, goes straight stops straight, you won't win any drag races lol, but it will do 115 or so, highway is fine Price is OBO, within reason.
