1.6 litre 16 valve 4 cylinder GDI DOHC. It is not the turbo model. Automatic transmission with paddles, panoramic sunroof, back-up camera, navigation, heated seats, A/C. This car was purchased by my son in August 2018 at 90,000 km and I have taken over ownership for the purpose of selling it. It currently has 203,220 km on it. The car has had a number of major repairs, including the following: New engine block at 148,000 km (Hyundai factory recall). New fuel pump at 188,000 km. New transmission, fly wheel, clutch bearings, ignition coils, spark plugs and battery at 202,000 km. In essence, a lot of the really expensive mechanical parts of this car are new or fairly new. All of the work noted above was completed by Precision Hyundai. Work orders are available to be viewed. The car also comes with a spare never-used exhaust system (from cat back, including resonator) that is still in the original packaging. Collisions during our ownership include one in 2018 that damaged the front bumper, hood and fender cowling; one in a parking lot in 2019 that scratched the door; and a hit-and-run in 2023 that broke a tail light/dented the rear hatch. All were reported to the insurance company but none were repaired. All damage is shown in the photos. Car has active status, and is registered/insured. However, it is "parked" for the winter in our insurance policy, so I'd need to switch that around if anyone wants to test drive it. The car itself is very comfortable, drives really well and is great on gas. It’s a little tank in the snow so it’s great in the winter. There are two sets of wheels that come with it. The winters are on steel rims and have lots of tread left. The summers are on factory rims and have a decent amount of tread left. All glass is good, which is great because this car has an amazing glass panorama sunroof. The only glass hiccup is that the driver’s side window sometimes sticks. There is a mechanical issue that is reflected in the price. Since having the transmission done, the car has developed a habit of occasionally stalling, and then upon immediate restart, it won’t go into Drive or Reverse. It stays in Neutral. After about an hour, it resets itself and drives like nothing happened. This has occurred a half dozen times in the 1000 km since having the transmission done, so it's not a frequent occurrence, but it is annoying and inconvenient. It has been examined by both Precision Hyundai where the transmission work was done and also by Hyundai Gallery. The engine light is on and both shops suspect that the issue may be related to oxygen sensors or a catalytic converter. We have not undertaken further repairs because we have put enough money into this car and we are done with it. It is time for it to go a new mechanically-minded owner to take it from here. The amount we spent to do the new transmission in this car far exceeds what we are selling it for, so it’s a great deal as a parts car, or for someone who wants to tinker or perhaps get the aforementioned repairs done.
